We are Tim and Eileen Clark. After serving for 17 years as the Missionary/Pastor of the Grace Baptist Church in Baumholder, Germany, a ministry focused on the American Military; then serving for 13 years as the Deputation Director, then Vice President of another Mission Board, God led me to partner with Missionary Walter Stevens in establishing Roma Outreach Missions Association.

It was while serving with the Mission Board that I made contact with the Roma people, first in Romania and later in Cleveland. People ask me all the time about who the Roma people are, suggesting that the stereotype of beggars and thieves is somehow true.  Well, I can attest to one thing – they are thieves – they have stolen my heart!  God really has given me a love for the Roma people. A love the has deepened the more I have become involved with them.

Since the Spring of 2004, when I first made contact with this people group, my burden for them has increased and my desire to minister amongst them has become overwhelming. It is because of this God-given burden and a desire to focus on the Roma that I chose to follow God’s leadership and become a part of the ROMA team from the beginning.
